In the early nineties, my dad gave me a recipe for making beef jerky in my home oven. After years of making beef and deer jerky and hearing everyone say, “Man you need to sell this in stores”. I decided to give it a try.
In May 2000 we built the facility and began the long journey of getting USDA approval. In January 2006, twenty-five miles, an expansion, and many miles of paperwork later, we were granted a full grant of inspection, by the USDA.
